Intro
In 2020, Linux distribution company SUSE and the Deloitte Digital Brand Development Team tackled the challenge of coming up with an outstanding motion announcement of their merger with Kubernetes start-up Rancher.
Having recently acquired Rancher Labs, SUSE wanted to announce this milestone through a billboard ad on Times Square’s Big Kahuna screen. Deloitte Digital developed a unique and engaging motion graphics piece that celebrates this powerful merger. Using the brand’s unrivalled heritage to prove its tech credentials, we built the creative around the proposition “Imagine!”
Bringing it to the next level
This ambitious project gave us the unique opportunity to create an iconic visual piece to be featured on the biggest billboard screen in the world. In partnership with SUSE, our multidisciplinary creative team was able to introduce a bold, expressive and memorable motion announcement that resonated strongly with the community.
As our aim was to capture the audiences’ attention in an area where they are bombarded with ads. We had to play with scale and take the visual language to the next level - creating a confident, dynamic and iconic look that speaks for itself.
