Intro

My 10+ years of experience across graphic, identity, communication, experience and environment design has led to me value an important first step that is often omitted; the who and the why.

Implementing a rigorous design process for every project ensures that these questions are reflected in each of the visual outcomes. It’s the core storytelling aspect that is the red thread that ties logos, to powerpoint presentations, to billboards.

By getting this right, you can turn the smallest of projects into a holistic experience with lasting impact.

SUSE Rebranding

In 2020, SUSE – the biggest open-source player in the Linux implementation market, acquired Kubernetes start-up Rancher. Both had a clear vision: being known as the leading open-source innovator in the world. Deloitte Digital was entrusted with the challenge of fusing these two exceptional brands to be more than their individual parts.

As you are clearly an intrigued individual, would you like to hear a funny little story?

You may have realised that I have branded myself under the banner of studio itch. I am not claiming to be a multidisciplinary studio that consists of one very over-worked individual. Rather, many years ago I purchased this domain in hopes that it would one day be the name of the actual multidisciplinary studio I will run with my many like-minded colleagues. I keep the name - and the branding - in the knowledge that this domain will one day become much larger.
